I was moving my 1990 tempo and the tranny just quit!! i put it in park and it still moves/rolls. the fluid is full and clean, filter recently changed. it made no noise or sounds before quitting.help! i need my car for work!!! thank you in advance!!

You say it will not move when in gear? but moves when in park? i would check for a damaged parking pawl. as far as thevehicle not moving while in drive, i would check fluid level make sure it is in the cross hatch section of the dipstick while jogging and in park of course, with e brake set. also i have seen it where people do a trans service and they dont get the filter on correctly if the filter fell off sittin in the bottom of the trans pan that would cause you not to be able to move gl2u.
