I have 1.8tdi 1996 and i have ripped all the carpets and underlay out because they where damp and the car stunk. anyway, i have noticed that water is collecting on the floor on the drivers side near the outer edge of the seat. i put some water down where the pollen filter is and no water came through. any ideas where this may be coming from? cheers lenny

Try running a hose over your windscreen for a few minutes then check again. if not there, turn your heater on and watch under dash for a leak.
