When i start up my ford mondeo smoke bellows out of the exhaust for ages should i worry???

Depends on the colour of the smokeblack = inefficient fuel burningwhite = condensation - stops once the car has warmed uplight grey - unburned diesel burning off until all 4 cylinders start firing [usually bad heater plugs]blue = burning oil - engine is shot - start looking for a new car!
