There is no exact data for this question. the approximate distance is determined by the distance between the seat and the dashboard. the ones i have seen deployed in accidents have extended about 24 inches. however since it is a bag and inflated by a gas cylinder you will never get an exact measurement. maybe a ford engineer can give you a factory spec.
