I have mustang 97 convertible. i m looking for lowering springs, and e thing that i find, says: it will fit all mustangs except convertibles. why? what exactly is the difference between convertible and coupe-- they seem to be the same, except for the top, of course. just was wondering... would it be safe to buy these springs and install them even thought they say they it does not? thank you for your answers! ;-)

You should ask the spring manufacturer, it probably takes a slightly heavier spring for the convertible.
