Yup everything gearbox said plus the passage in the intake will carbon up and cause these problems too, remove the tbody and plenum and you will see a little passage about as wide as a sharpened pencil, clean it out, scrape it with an awl carefully reinstall, have fixed hundreds doing this for egr codes
