I was cutting grass with the tractor when it revved up suddenly and then ran out of diesel then stopped. i realized that it choke cable got lose so i connected it. after connecting the cable it wouldn’t start. how do i start it up again? do i have to prime it if so how do you do that?

A little old for me , but i would say that removing the fuel filter(s) and filling them first, then locate the fuel pump and see if it has a small 1" round knob that will unscrew (left) and pull up slowly, that should be a primer pump, several pumps untill you feel resistance should do it. good luck
