Ford e4od diesel tranny shifting hard , od light blinking?
I have a 97 ford diesel with a e4od tranny the overdrive light blinking tranny is shifting hard

Best thing is retrieve the trans codes. when it shifts hard like that you are getting to much line pressure. there is solenoid in the trans that controls that. there for take it to the dealer or a trans shop emediately, because with high line pressure like that will blow your front seal out and you will have trans fluid everwhere
