We are considering buying a used ford explorer (1997-2000).?
For those who have owned one, tell me what you like or dislike about them. what are some common problems?

I loved mine. when i hit a tree going about 35-40 both air bags activated. car was totaled but i was unhurt. the large hooded front was a blessing. its a nice
safe vehicle i think.
