I have a 1995 ford contour with the 4 cylinder 2.0 l motor and i went to go start it and it had a hard time starting but then it ran for like 2 mins but it was runing hard and then it died out and wont start back up tho it was the timeing belt but it the timeing belt is still go on it it sound like thier is no compression in it at all what could it be please kelp!!

Try this, hold foot almost all the way to floor and try to start it.. does it start? then engine probably jumped timing. . the teeth are famous for shearing off and causing it to jump a th and after awhile cause what you describe. and this is a mazda motor so he did buy japanese:-)
