Hi, my question is about the fuel tank on my 1998 ford windstar limited, if i have only slightly less than a quarter a tank of gas and park facing downhill is it normal when i try to start my van for it not to crank as though it is out of gas? the fuel light was on also. we pushed it up the driveway after trying to crank it lots of times, once on level road it started right up. anyone know if it is a know problem with this van or if i should have this looked at? thanks for any help

Its normal both of my fords do the same thing . what is happening is that the fuel is going to the rear of the tank and the fuel gauge can not detect a hill so the light goes on and sometimes you have to put the vehicle at level to get the gas pump to get fuel in it .
