Has someone had to remove the baffel where you pour the oil on the drivers side so the rockers will clear.,its a plate under the cover. ok i installed gt-40 heads on my 302 and 1.7 crane roller rockers and i now here a loud rattling noise sounds like its coming from the front of the head on the drivers side i was wondering if the rockers wre hiting the covers but the noise sounds like its coming from the front of the head on the drivers side

Did you torque down e thing correctly? if so it sounds like a baffle issue, you will need taller valve covers. are you cycling fuel injection or a carburetor? if your car is efi then taller valve covers will do the trick you may want to consider if the pushrods are the correct length as well. nice luck
