I was declined, my credit score is about 620, with no negative items against me at all. is it easier to get a shorter term lease or longer term lease? and say if i put down $3 to 4 thousand would that help too?

With the state of ford right now, i am a little suprised they turned you down. your credit is not bad, its not really great, but it falls at the very low end of average scores. if you have somebody who can co-sign with you that would really help. ideally somebody who has leased a car in the past. and yes a downpayment would always help because you are lowering the amount you are being loaned and they will look at it as a better risk.the length of the lease does not have as much to do with it, or they would have offered it to you anyway.
