Car: 1999 ford escort zx2 the locks open easily with the key but when using the remote the locks move a little but do engage in a lock or unlock. i think it has something to do with the vacuum locks. anyone know where i should check for vacuum leaks.

This car doesnt have vaccum locks that is on volkswagons, it probably needs a lock actuator motor or some oiling
