Hi, i am a new driver and will be getting a car soon. i am looking into a 2000-2002 ford taurus but i am wondering why is it so cheap? it is pretty new and has a v6 engine but sells for only 5000 or 6000 dollars. can someone tell me why it is so cheap and if it is a good car to get? or can someone reccomend me a similar car for under $6000?

I had a ford taurus. it was much older than the one you are looking at. that was the most dependable car ever! i loved that car. it is transmission finally went out at 190,000 miles and i reluctantly put it to rest. go to kbb.com and check out what the suggested price is for the taurus you are looking at. they were not expensive cars to start with, so used they would not be much. they are great cars though and will provide you with years of service and not many repair bills.
