I have a 1991 ford custom van with a ziebart alarm system (in which i never used) , i left a interior light on and the battery went dead. i charged the battery for a few hours now the alarm is on and it disabled the starter. the remote will not turn off the alarm. i found the sensor box but turning it down does not help. i can not find a valet switch. i have looked all over for a switch. help!!

Your best bet is to find the main box and remove it. had that happen to me once. installed a stereo system for anybody and when we reconnected the battery the alarm disabled the starter and he couldnt find the button for the thing. removed the box and started fine. found the button the next day.
