I want to know how ford power seats operate on a 1998 e-350 passenger van?
We purchased a 1998 ford passenger van and the fron seat goes forward and backwards but refuses to go up and down. do the two buttons on either side of the control have anything to do with it?

Not absolutely sure.my car has 3 different buttons.a toggle switch that changes the "tilt" of the seat.a joystick that controls "up, down, front and back"a toggle switch that changes the seat height.hope this helps.
