Ford

I just leased a 2008 ford escape on saturday. however, i was looking over it today and realized that the front drivers side wheel well looks to be rusted. is this common in new cars? if not will the dealership have to fix it?

A small amount of rust is normal. but if it seems to be a lot of rust, i would take it to the dealership.and before anyone else bashes ford and says that foreign vehicles are better, the escape is a european designed vehicle. last time i checked, that qualifies it as a foreign car. similar to mercedes, which is american owned and blokey of them are assembled here.
