I once had a silver 1981 x-19 and i enjoyed driving it. anyone else ever have one, and did you like it or not? what kinds of issues did you have with it?with mine, little stuff kept breaking, and the ac quit and the hood latch broke several times, but i remember it was fun to drive, with the top off. i used to deliver pizza in mine!

I had two the first was 1974 with the 1300 cc engine, the second was 1979 "big block" 1500 cc. i regret not keeping the 79, it was the funnest car ever. i maintained it myself, nothing much went wrong with mine, they were dead simple to work on. i put on slightly bigger tires, koni shocks, i remember one time passing a guy in a camaro, he took exception to this, caught up with me, there was a couple of hard turns coming up, i did not brake down shifted tossed the go cart x1/9 into the turn. the poor guy in the camaro had his nose practically scraping the ground he was braking so hard, when i came out of the second turn he was way behind me, left me alone after that.
