The ram 3500 never came with a gas engine, the 5.7 liter is the new hemi, it is not exactly a 350 but close. the only engines that ever came in the ram 3500 were the viper v-10, 5.9l cummins diesel, and the new 6.7l cummins. the 1500 and 2500 started using the hemi in 03, i believe.
