1999 dodge ram 2500 diesel automatic transmission problems?

Torgue converter kicks in and out when pulling a trailer. have been told that it may be a bad alternator that is causing this???

Answer

This could also be normal if its a heavy trailer,does it have a tow mode or have you tried it in 3 rd gear
