I bought a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4wd with a 3” lift, which had oversized tires on it. lt315/75/r16 on stock 16” rims. the problem i have e time i turn, the wheel rubs on the inside frame and the wheel well, intern tearing up the tires and the plastic wheel well. i like the meaty look and the height but i wanna fix the problem. i wanna put 18” rims on it and new tires. i know it’s got something to do with the offset and backspace of the rim and that’s what i do not understand. my question for you is what rim would you recommend and what size tire would you put on it or what backspace and offset i would need to fix the problem without loosing much height? or if i decided to keep my factory 16” what would you recamend? post your answer or send it to me at da_spazzz@yahoo.com thank you ronnie………………………
