If no power to coil suspect auto shut down relay is not functioning , the relay itself rarley fails, your trouble may be caused a bad ignition pick up [under distributor cap] stored codes can be retrieved by running the ign key 3 times and leaving in the on position and counting the flashes of the check engine lamp noting codes 12[begin of report] and 55[end of report] are normal also if the dist pick up is bad it may leave no code at all[does not know that engine is even moving] nice luck
