I own a 1992 dodge spirit 4door 4cyl 2.5l motor 3 speed auto trans with 84,400 orig miles no rust and well take care ofand had lots of new parts but now the headgasket is blown but im kind of thinking about selling the car anyone have any ideas what its worth?

The problem is that the cost of repair will exceed the value of the vehicle! while the head gasket is not all that hard to replace on the 2.5l motor, there is a nice chance that there it a crack in the head also (they were known for that happening!).you can either sell the car to a junkyard, or find anyone that wants a project. in either case you are looking at a few hundred dollars at the most. if i were the buyer, the most i would pay is $125 and the car would have to be nice. you may try listing the car on ebay as a parts/ salvage vehicle. if anyone has a motor they may want to buy the body! do not list it as a complete car, they charge a lot more ($80+) for a complete car listing/ sale than they do for a parts car listing! ($20 or so)
