Answer
The hemi engines that come in the lx platform for the
chrysler 300, dodge charger and dodge magnum are:
1) 5.7l hemi (r/t, daytona, road & track)
2) 6.1l hemi (srt8)
5.7l hemi
the 5.7l hemi version has the mds (multi displacement system) shuts down from 8 cylinders to 4 cylinders and puts out 340hp.
this motor you can get in the:
chrysler 300c (rwd & awd)
dodge charger r/t (rwd & awd)
dodge magnum r/t (rwd & awd)
however, there is 2 versions of the dodge charger that come with the 5.7 hemi with 350hp.
these special versions are the:
charger daytona &
charger road & track
which these are only rwd from what i recall:
6.1l hemi
also, another hemi version is the srt8 that come with the monster 6.1l hemi that puts out 425 hp.
you can get this version in the:
chrysler 300
dodge charger
dodge magnum
but are limited in production and come in only rwd.
the 300c & charger r/t, daytona, road & track are
comparible from 0 to 60 mph. the dodge magnum with it is
curb weight will be alittle slow but not by much.
i have heard though the awd versions will out perfrom the rwd from 0 to 60 based on traction but weighing about 150lbs more than the rwd versions.
the srt8 versions the 300 and charger are almost identical and the magnum will be alittle slower as well because of curb weight.
