At normal jogging speed say about 45-50 mph,it should be jogging about 23-2500 rpm,s give or take a few hundred,if its jogging higher than normal rpm,s then there is something wrong with it ,its probably slipping or not shifting out of 3,rd gear or going to 4,th,or even lock up,have a transmission shop test drive it they can tell you in a minute if its right or not,nice luck with it,have a nice new years,
