First off you need to know what size (cubic inch ) it is. "a" blocks are as follows 273, 318, 340, 360. they have the distributor in the back. "b" blocks are as follows: 383 ,400, 440. they have the distributors in the front. if you want to swap a b block engine into a car that had a a block you have to change out the "k" member. for any more info see your local dodge dealer or contact a local mopar club. nice
