Need to know what the last oil put in was. main thing you need to know is if it was synthetic. are you changing the oil or topping it off? if you are topping it off you dont really wanna mix synthetic with non-synthetic. if you are changing it... you can use either. the type of oil should be on a sticker somewhere on the car, either in the engine compartment, upper left corner of windshield or perhaps the owners manual. probably something like 10w-30.
