Dodge caravan 1996?
My dodge caravan turns on, but when i put it on drive it dosent go i accelerate the gas and it dosent go either it sounds like its cycling
but the van is not moving i put it on park and it does some weird clipping noises.
i try going reverse but it dosent go either . can some one
give me a idea whats the problem

In addition to the previous answer, if you notice a leak out of the bell housing, between the engine and transmission, these models in 1996 had a bad problem of the roll pin actually busting through the bell housing and preventing the torque converter from turning, which may or may not create one heck of a loud noise. that weird clipping noise is
in line with the roll pin shearing off.
