1995 dodge ram 1500 with 230,500 miles.today i was driving and when i stop and idle at a traffic lightthe engine idle low like barley walking no tach but i would guess 3-400 rpm.i give it some gas it clears up. also if idling and turn wheel the engine try to stall out. i usually run gas down to 1/8 tank before filling up. i thought it might be walking out of gas so i put in some and drove 5 miles. seems to be better but not sure it wont do it again tomorrow.any idea what wrong??it was tuned up last month

Sounds like a sticking idle air control valve. on modern engines there is a valve that bypasses air around the throttle valve so the computer can control the idle when you turn on the a/c or turn the steering wheel while idling. sometimes these valves gunk up and are slow to respond. i would suggest replacing it considering the amount of miles on the engine.
