Dodge v-10 cruise control?
I have a 1997 dodge with a v-10 after about 55,000 miles on it,the engine would die at
e
stop. i
k it to my local dodge dealer and was told i probly had gotton some bad gas, theyn drained the gas tank and flushed out the fuel system,at least thats what they said they did, and charged me $200.00. the following week it started doing the same thing, a friend of mine who builds race car engines told me to put in a couple of bottles of carborator clearner in the tank, the problem was solved, runs ok. but the cruise wont work. i called the garage that worked on it,they dont know what the cause is,and want $50.00 to look under the hood.i have checked the fuses, cant find any loose conections.i am
on social security and right now thats alot of money not to mention the actual cost of getting the cruise back working. any suggestions?? thanks for your time.

For the cruise control problem: i have had this problem with blokey dodge trucks. they have a vehicle speed sensor in the transmission that goes out a lot. it is easy to change with one wrench. i would go by autozone and let them run a free code check on it if you have a autozone nearby. the part is less than 30 bucks. (this is only nice if your "check engine " light is on
