Auto trans fluid?

I have a car equipped with a chrysler auto transmission. on the manual book, it says to put in mopar +3 but i went to the auto store and they no longer have the +3 they only have mopar +4. are those safe to use on the transmission?i went to all my local auto parts store. they all told me that the mopar +4 replaces the mopar +3. wondering if someone else already tried this. thankyou
Answer
Fluids made to new standards are backwards compatible. the newer type fluid is better and will work fine, even though your car manufacturer could not specify it at the time.
