Does anybody know the difference between atf-4 auto transmission oil used by chrysler and by toyota brand ?
Can we interchange between these atf oil between 2 # blokeufacture?

Most transmission fluids are non-interchangeable. chrysler +3 & +4 have anti shuddering additives that can cause the transmission to slip if not used. putting dexron/mercon in a mercon v transmission will cause the same thing. you must use specific fluids as required by the man
ufacturer.
maxlife aft has been tested and can be used interchangibly for some transmission fluids.
