Do yourself a big favor here - this is better left for the pros.these are very precise calibrations and adjusting your own throttle and carb links, without prior knowledge and experience will only increase the ammout of your repair bill.an outboard very rarely goes out of timing and usually due to owners messing with what they think is the idle adjustment.
