I hear a click click click then click click then click click click noise coming from my transmission and it went into limpmode it does not go past 45 miles per hour and my rpms go all the way up to 5 without changeing gears. i think the nose is coming from a silver box on the side of the transmission. shout i replace sensors also. thanks for any and all help in advance.

I use to own a 99 sebring with the same problem. it is the transmission computer chip.take it to a dealer to have that checked all else it is the transmission. i had that go out on mine and it cost me 1200 dollers. (correction transmission moguel)
