Do i rebuild the 383 or 440 chrysler?
My 68 newport has a 383 #s match. i obtained a 68 or 69 440. not an rb block. is it wise to rebuild the 440 for the same cost as the 383, get more power and save the 383 just in case? it runs and is in the car. or is there any advantage to rebuilding the 383. i want to have fun witht the car for a while, never had a 440, never used the 383 and wonder if a stock (but for balancing and alluminum intake) 440 will be as good as doing the same things to the 383 but only making it a 4bbl. the 440 is a stock 4bbl.
