Why does my 2002 chrysler voyager stall when i make a right turn?
My 2002 voyager, 4cyl, 50k miles, sometime stalls when i make a right turn. i thought it was low gas, but it will stall even when the tank is
full. i had it checked out, but my neighborhood auto repair and they could not
find the problem. it stalls intermittently, no indicator lights come on and the gauges look ok. any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Answer
Most newer vehicles have a power steering pressure sensor(either on pump or high pressure hose) it senses power steering pressure, when pressure goes high( like turning while your sitting still) it raises your idle so as not to stall, sounds like your sensor is bad or unplugged
