Chrysler

I have a 1995 chrysler lebaron convertiable and i was told two sensors were out of it number 25 and 51?

Does somebody know what these sensors are and if i can put them in myself it is so costly to have a shop do it.
Answer
51 is a lean o2 sensor... yes, it can be replaced easily by yourself... but, it might not be the 02 sensor causing the lean reading... in conjunction with code 25, it could refer to the map sensor... does your car stall and studder and sometimes take awhile to start after it stalls? 25 is automatic idle speed motor driver/vacuum leak more then likely, fixing the map sensor will also fix the code 25. yes, you can replace it easily. http://performance.drivewire.com/airintake/chryslerlebaronmapsensor.html $66
