Does anybody know how to put a head unit in a 1979 chcrysler lebaron? my buddy said he would help me but does not know what color the wires are because of the year of the car.

Go to a local stereo shop or to crutchfield.com and get an adapter harness for the radio. this will prevent you from having to cut and splice the factory harness conenctors and makes things a lot easier. the wiring kit will come with a color code that tells you where to hook up each wire to the adapter. they also have adapters to allow them to fit the dash.
