Can the turbocharged bmw e23 m30 engine fitted to a right-hand drive version?

I own a 1984 bmw e23 728ia uk-spec which is right hand drive.i really want to buy a euro-spec 745i turbo and convert my 728i into it using almost all of it is parts.the biggest question is the engine.i used to know that a right hand drive 745i south african version has fitted it with the m88 engine taken from the m1.then the left hand drive european market has the same 3.2l or 3.4l m30 engine fitted with a turbocharger.i wanted to use the turbo one because that engine can be easily tuned to reach extremely high output.while the only worrying is,from some information i search from the net, they said turbocharged m30 engine from 745i cannot be fitted into the right hand drive version of e23.so south african 745i received the 24-valve m88 engine.actually earlier time i suspected that engine cannot fit into right hand drive e23 maybe cause by the extra turbo unit on the engine makes it impossible to be installed with it.but a turbo unit position can be customized,so what is the problem?please help...
Answer
Yeah it should be able to work you might have to tweak it a little. if you still think its a bad idea find another engine that can work with right handed drive
