BMW

Is there ever going to be a bmw m3 gtr?

Answer
Yes, there is probably going to be a m3 gtr. it will be released in 2009 or 2010. the chassis style will be in the e92, the current chassis style for all 3-series coupes. the three designations of bmw m3s are: e92 m3: stock m3, v8 engine, 420 bhp, 295 lb/ft of torque. e92 m3 csl: “csl  coupe sport lightweight,” significantly lighter m3, more power and torque, stripped interior and more power added to the engine, about 440+ bhp from the same v8 engine. this is a street legal race car. e92 m3 gtr: the most powerful variant of the m3. it will probably have the s85 v10 from the m5 and m6 under the hood, producing 507 bhp and 385 lb/ft of torque. this is a rare car and few will be produced. the interior will be stripped and the car will be lowered, this car is essentially a street-legal race car. there will be no air-conditioning, no trunk, carbon fiber e thing. no frills. the seats will be, if anything like the previous, taken from porsche’s gt3 rs. this is total speculation, i have no way to tell if any of this is going to happen. if this model follows the path of the e46 m3, this is what we can expect. however, bmw has confirmed the release of a full m3 lineup. there will be a coupe, super saloon (sedan), sport wagon (touring) and the csl variant. however, the fate of the gtr is unknown. however, hartge makes a car similar to the m3 gtr, it fits the s85 v10 into a 3-series and it is fast and capable of speeds over 200 mph. this is a tuner company that bmw is closely related to. i hope this helps.
