I would not put a screw driver near the paint. you are more likely to scratch up your car than to successfully remove the bmw emblem.use dental floss. the emblem is held on to the hood with two pins underneath. slide the dental floss underneath the emblem and wrap it around a few times. then just pull it off. installation is easy.. just push it in place.you can buy bmw emblems on ebay or from a discount bmw parts dealers online. once such place is www.bimmerbum.com.
