BMW

I saw an ad for a 1999 bmw 325i convertible. is this a nice price?

I think it was a 325i, and it looked on-line. it has about 85k miles on it and the dealer is asking $10,500 (about). how well does a bmw age? is a 1999 too old to consider or is it like a mercedes that ages well? what should i look for if i go to look at it? what are the maintainence and upkeep costs for this typr of car? thanks!
Answer
You, my friend, have a problem as bmw did not man ufacture a 325i convertible, they did however make a 318i, 323i and 328i. bmws do age well, i once drove a 13 year old bmw, that still had zippy 0-60 times and handled beautifully. the pricing does, however, seem to be about right on. look at the interior, the headers, oil gaskets and rust spots on the trunk, wheel wells and underneath the doors, on the underside.
