Can a carrier bearing for an audi quattro 100 be changed w/o having to change the complete axel?
$1500.00have contacted every dealer in my area and was told that because it is an all wheel drive thingie then it will need the whole axel and the cheapest axel for it i found on the internet for 450.00 and from the dealer 1500. buuuuuuut, a mechanic said we could just replace the bearing but he cannot find a bearing for it.
