Car Insurance

What i need to know is if a car rental co. in florida have to check whether a transportation co. they use to move cars for them have insurance or not. my lawyer, who is not man aging to get extremely much for me in a case where i have a perman ent injury states that is the case. the co. involved have gone bust and their insurance was fraudulent, therefore there is no-one to sue and the car rental co. say they are not liable.
