For me it involves having an agent that i can talk to, who will give me good advice, and help me figure out answers to questions that i have. this is easier to tell, as you can actually talk with local agents. also ask your friends for a recommendation.it also involves having good service if you need them. that is a little more difficult to tell ahead of time. have to ask friends, look in consumer ratings, see if any complaints lodged with you state dept of insurance.
