Do car rental agencies employ people to drive cars coast to coast to balance their fleet? how does one apply?
I am presently in the indiana area and plan to return to my home in nj in a week or so. i will be travelling to san francisco and las vegas whiie on the west coast. i am interested in driving a car back for a car rental agency or private party that may have a need for this service.

Car rental agencies are not going to hire someone off the street to drive just one of their cars cross-country for them. if you are insurable and bondable with a nice driving record, you might try to hire on with one of the drive-away companies that contract to move automobiles and motor-homes for customers.do a google search for drive-away companies on the west coast.
