Is it a good idea to get rental car insurance?
I was posed that question yesterday when i rented a car.
Answer
A) check if your credit card issuer has a feature with car rental insurance. some do.
b) your insurance may cover it. talk to your insurance agent.
the question is if you want to
have to deal with the rental company if they claim accident or damage.
always choose a well known car rental company. some have been known to claim you liable for damage that either was there previously or occurred later.
