New Car

Im currently in the market for a compact to midsize suv,and im planning to test drive several cars just to see how they perform and drive but im not yet ready to buy immidiately,maybe in a month from now i will,how do i deal with a salesman who might be overeager to sell,will they allow me to test drive even if im not yet ready to buy,thanks for your help

Hi - i am here to shop for a car. i am definitely going to buy a car, but it may be today or it may be in a couple of weeks. right now i am shopping. if you try a hard sell, you will turn me off and i will end up buying my car somewhere else. on the other hand, i will appreciate any help you can give me, and any information about the car that will help me make up my mind. i would be interested in test driving this one.... lay it out up front, and a nice salesman will appreciate knowing the ground rules, and how he (or sohe) can best serve you, and thereby close the deal.
