Ca taxes: i bought new car and sold it after 6 month. can i return the ca sale tax i paid when puchased it?
Car bought in february 2006 for 40k and sold in november 2006 for 38k. ~3.3k tax was paid when purchased.

trying to ask if the state will give you the sales tax back, the answer is no. why should they?
you bought the car, you paid the tax, they keep it.
